Organising Your Event
Baptism - Christening - Naming Day Ceremony
1.Location, Location, Location
Choosing a location that is special to you and your family for your baby's introduction to the world will make the day a wonderful memory.
Church: Your local church makes for a perfect setting for a baptism. Churches usually need around 6 weeks notice and you may need to attend an information evening to discuss the meaning behind your decision to enter this faith and the process of the ceremony itself. Usually, the fee for such a service is left up to the individual and the ceremony is performed after the Sunday service.
Function Centre : Most venues now cater for Christenings and as with weddings you may need to book well in advance. Prices usually start from $60pp with drinks. There may be a charge for room hire.
At Home Garden, Beach or Park: These are great locations for a civil naming ceremony. See our catering section for some tips on hosting the perfect celebration. Just Adorable has a great range of ideas and accessories to dress up your setting. We have a canopy lining in blue and pink floral print or plain pink or blue. We can design the interior of your marquee with a referral to our specialist event organiser.

2. Celebrant and Priests
Celebrants provide a mobile service and consult with you on the type of celebration you want to have at your child's naming day ceremony. They will prepare the format you have decided upon and perform the service on the day in your chosen location. We have had some wonderful reviews from the celebrants we recommend. Prices start from $240.

Priests: Each church has an appointed preist who will perform the formatted ceremony for the choice of religion you have made. The costs associated with this service is usually negotiated prior to the ceremony.
3. Gown or Outfit.
Choosing the perfect outfit will depend primarily on the style ceremony you choose, the time of year and size of your child. Just Adorable has a great range of traditional and non traditional gowns and outfits that are of supreme quality and detail and can be hired for a fraction of the retail costs. Yet any purchase you do make is an investment in the heritage of your family for generations to come.
4. Photographer
This is a worth while service to consider, just so that you can be in all the photos too. You don't want to worry about photographing the memories of such a special day throughout the service, after the ceremony or during the function.
